THE LATEST JUNKERS PILOT WATCHES COLLECTION
JUNKERS and the BAUHAUS
Hugo Junkers was a supporter and promoter of the Bauhaus from the very beginning. The Junkers Bauhaus series commemorates the collaboration between the Bauhaus Dessau and the Junkerswerke. Hugo Junkers provided the ambitious artists' movement with rooms to realize their ideas and also incorporated the Bauhaus philosophy into his own projects. The first model samples of the famous Bauhaus tubular steel chair by Marcel Breuer were thus created at the Junkerswerke. The results of this fruitful cooperation - until it was broken up by the National Socialists in 1933 - live on to this day in art and architecture around the world.
JUNKERS BAUHAUS KOLLEKTION
As a further development of the successful F 13 passenger aircraft, the single-engine W 33 low-wing cargo transport plane took off in June 1926 for its maiden flight as a seaplane version on the Elbe near Dessau.
The abbreviation JUMO stands for Junkers Motor. This watch series pays homage with design highlights to this research and business field, with which Hugo Junkers successfully built his existence.
The "Junkers J1" special edition is dedicated to an airplane that took to the skies only once and yet represented a revolution. Strictly limited to 1915 pieces.
